This Policy outlines the procedures for cancellations, returns, or refunds applicable to industrial and institutional buyers, distributors, and partners.
It is framed in accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Indian Contract Act, 1872, and applicable commercial practices.
2. Nature of Business
MIPA Industries is a manufacturer and supplier of polymer-based industrial and agricultural products.
All inquiries received through this Website are processed through our sales, technical, and distributor networks, and not through automated online checkout systems.
Each order is custom-handled, with specific terms for product type, quantity, quality standard, and delivery timeline mutually agreed before confirmation.
3. Order Confirmation and Acceptance
• Orders, quotations, or supply contracts are confirmed only after written approval, purchase order acceptance, or advance payment confirmation (if applicable).
• Product specifications, prices, and delivery timelines are communicated in writing and form part of the contractual understanding between MIPA Industries and the customer.
• Once confirmed, orders enter the production or dispatch cycle and cannot be unilaterally cancelled without written consent.
4. Order Cancellation
• Cancellation requests will be considered only before the start of production or dispatch.
• Approved cancellations, if any, may be subject to administrative or handling deductions depending on order stage and materials allocated.
• Orders already processed, packed, or dispatched cannot be cancelled.
• Custom or made-to-specification products are strictly non-cancellable once production begins.
5. Return Policy
As products are manufactured to specific requirements and quality standards, returns are generally not accepted after delivery unless:
• The product supplied does not match the agreed technical specifications.
• The product is found to have a manufacturing defect verified and acknowledged by MIPA Industries.
In such cases:
• The buyer must notify MIPA Industries within 7 working days of receipt, with clear details, photos, or inspection reports.
• Returned products must remain unused and uninstalled, in their original condition and packaging.
• MIPA Industries will review the claim and, if validated, arrange for replacement or rectification at its discretion.
6. Refund Policy
Refunds are applicable only under exceptional circumstances, such as:
• Order cancellation approved before production.
• Duplicate or excess payments verified by the accounts department.
• Returns approved under verified quality discrepancies.
Refunds, where approved, will be processed via bank transfer or original payment mode within 10–15 working daysof confirmation, after necessary internal verification.
7. Inspection and Verification
Before delivery, all products undergo stringent internal quality checks as per applicable BIS, ISO, or in-house quality standards.
In case of dispute, both parties may mutually appoint a certified testing agency (such as CIPET or an approved third-party laboratory**) to verify compliance before considering returns or refunds.
8. Non-Returnable and Non-Refundable Cases
Returns, replacements, or refunds shall not apply to:
• Products damaged due to mishandling, improper installation, or usage conditions beyond MIPA’s control.
• Partial usage of materials (e.g., liners, films, or rolls cut to size).
• Delays in use or storage leading to weathering or contamination.
• Products made on special order or customised dimensions.
• Variations in colour, texture, or minor thickness tolerance within permissible limits.
9. Delivery and Responsibility
• Once products are inspected and handed over to authorised transporters, responsibility transfers to the buyer or consignee as per delivery terms.
• Any transit damage or delay must be reported directly to the transporter for claims, though MIPA Industries will assist with supporting documentation if required.
10. Customer Responsibilities
• Inspect all goods immediately upon delivery for visible damages or discrepancies.
• Notify any quality or specification concerns in writing within 7 days of receipt.
• Ensure safe unloading, storage, and handling of products as per recommended guidelines.
• Provide accurate order and shipping details to avoid misdelivery or delays.
11. Force Majeure
MIPA Industries shall not be liable for non-performance or delay caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including natural calamities, strikes, transport disruptions, raw material shortages, or government restrictions.
12. Policy Revisions and Exceptions
This Policy may be revised periodically to reflect changes in regulations, business processes, or quality practices.
Any exceptions to this Policy must be approved in writing by authorised management personnel of MIPA Industries.
