HDPE Pipe, Durable & Cost-Effective Piping Solutions

HDPE Pipes are durable and cost-effective piping solutions for water supply, Irrigation systems, sewerage/drainages, electrical and telecom cable conduit, gas pipe, and all types of commercial and domestic piping requirements.

Mipatex HDPE pipes are manufactured from virgin superior grade HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene) and are available in raw material grades PE-63, PE 80, and PE 100 in various pressure ratings. These pipes are excellent corrosion-resistant, chemical-resistant, Seismic-resistant, Zero leakage, hydraulically smooth, lightweight, strong, ductile, and impact-resistant.

HDPE Pipe Features, Benefits and Design

HDPE Pipes - Premium Quality, Light-Weight, Durable, UV & Weather Resistance

  • Premium Quality and Durable: Mipatex HDPE pipes are made from particular grade high-density polyethylene (PE 63/PE80/PE100) with added additives that ensure flexibility, excellent abrasion, weather resistance, and durability, with a very high life expectancy, which is more than 50 years in some cases.
  • UV Stability: A special quality of HDPE pipe is manufactured where they need special UV protection when the conduit is used in application such as exposure to sunlight, non -buried, rooftop, etc.
  • Light-weight and Flexible: Compared to any other product like GI, CI, Cement with equivalent life expectancy, the weight of HDPE pipe is significantly less due to the material density and can be bent to a specific radius without causing any damage.
  • Impact Resistance: HDPE pipes have superior impact resistance properties that prevent product damage and make tremors safe and unbreakable during a catastrophic event like a quake and capable of withstanding high-pressure flow.
  • Corrosion resistance: These pipes are rust, corrode proof and resist chemical effects. It has excellent abrasion resistance also.
  • Fittings: We offer a full range of injection-molded fittings for HDPE pipes, including joints, couplers, reducing couplers, tees, clamps, and 90° elbows.

Frequently Ask Question (FAQ) & Answer

HDPE Pipes are made from high density Polyethylene. It’s widely used for conveying potable water, wastewater, oil pipeline, gas pipelines, and other applications. Its high impermeability and strong molecular bond make it suitable for high-pressure pipelines.

HDPE pipes have many outstanding benefits include the following.

  1. These pipes are abrasion and corrosion resistant; they are resistant to biological buildups such as bacteria, algae, and mold.
  2. It has a high strength to density ratio and high strength to weight ratio. With a high-pressure rating, it’s surge resistant too.
  3. It’s very durable and assures long life with excellent performance at lower maintenance costs.
  4. These pipes are UV resistant, pliable, and have high tensile strength.
  5. It’s highly resistant to freezing (and the expansion of any fluids inside).
  6. These pipes have a smooth-out inner surface that allows higher flow & lower frictional losses.
  7. It’s an excellent insulator and does not get brittle at different temperatures or with age.
  8. These pipes are ideal in shifting soil conditions and earthquake-prone areas.

Mipatex HDPE pipes usually have 50-years of service life. PE pipes have a long track record of excellent performance; under standard working conditions, the actual life is expected to be 100 years.

SDR stands for the standard dimensional ratio, which is a ratio of the nominal outside diameter to the nominal wall thickness. SDR = dn/en. Where dn is the nominal outside diameter of the pipe and en is the nominal (minimum) wall thickness of the pipe.

PN Is the nominal working pressure rating. The number used to describe PN is 10 times the maximum allowable operating pressure (MAOP) value at 20°C (MPa x10) based on a design factor of 1.25. SDR Nominal ratio of outside diameter to wall thickness. It means that the pressure should reach 0.6 MPa and 0.6 MPa is approximately equal to 6 kg/square centimeter.

HDPE pipe is the perfect piping solution for conveying potable water and is safe for potable water applications.
